Eyebrow Piercing:

I must admit I was being pretty nervous when I went to have my eyebrow pierced, so when I found out that the needle used was hollow so it could cut out a little cylinder of flesh as it went through, I felt somewhat disturbed. With the vague notion that I might get to keep the little cyclinder of flesh (perhapse a cremation would be in order), I decided to go for it.

Supprisingly, it didn't hurt a bit. To say I didn't feel it would be a lie, and to say it didn't feel like a 1mm diameter tube being pushed through my face would also be a lie, but I would not describe the feeling as a pain, perhapse a slight discomfort. Reaction at work was ... interesting, so after 4-5 weeks once it had healed sufficiently, I had the piercing stretched from 1mm to 1.5mm. This was to allow it to take a barbell which I thought less obtrusive than a ring. Now that did hurt !

Eyebrow Piercing

Recommedation: get it pierced to 1.5mm in the first place, or find somewhere that stocks 1mm barbells.
