THE WAVE

‘The Wave’ - the UK’s biggest ever demonstration in support of action on climate change - is on Saturday 5 December 2009, ahead of the crucial UN climate summit in Copenhagen.

Hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life will flow through the streets of London to demonstrate their support for a fair and safe climate future for all.

And it's going to be a whole lot of fun!

Dress Code: Blue!

Where it's all happening:


  • 12pm - "Climate Emergency Rally" - Speakers Corner. (Purple Circle)
  • 1pm - Assemble Grosvenor Square. (Red circle)
  • 2pm - March to Parliament. (Green)
  • 3pm - Surround Parliament. (Blue)

Travel up to London

Our plan is to travel together on the "Climate Train". The Climate Train is running from Plymouth calling at Totnes, Newton Abbot, Exeter, Taunton, Bristol, Bath and Swindon.

It will leave Exeter at 8:18am and arrives at Paddington at 11:34am

Return journey from Paddington at 5:14pm. Returns back to Exeter at 8:08pm

Ticket price will be £30 from Exeter and Taunton.
