We live in a world of ever expanding economic growth, and the pursuit of possessions in the hope of happiness.
Aquisitive, consumptive, we are bloated with wealth. Well at least that applies to 20% of us on the planet. The other 80% occasionally appear on our television screen as an occasional reminder that not everyone shares our good fortune. But, in all this abundance, are we happy? Truly happy? The simple answer - backed up by research - is that we are not. But it is more significant than that. Our patterns of consumption are underpinning the most serious and intractable problems of our time; War, Poverty and Climate Change. If we are serious about finding solutions to these world problems, then we have to deal with our consumerism. We have to shout out ... "enough is enough". This website is your chance to light a candle for "simplicity".
