The Dance of the Twelve moons
Long Night Moon
Out of the darkness of the night, there seem to be voices calling to the Gods above, and the howling and shrieking of the Four-Winds disturb and cause an eerie feeling as the lightning flashes and shows its many designs in the intervals of the roaring thunder. There seems such a momentary bleakness, when, out in the midst of it all, the King of Birds, the ever stalwart Eagle in defiance of the elements struts and does his dance, as the day becomes short, and the night becomes long.
