Dance of the Twelve moons
Snow Moon
When from the sky above the Great Mystery let fall the shining beams on the Grey Earth, and the gusty winds howling and tossing the beams to and fro and then cease their moments. And beholds the Earth now completely covered by the beams shining white, appears a scattered pattern by the many design created and left by the footprints of man, animal and bird, only to be melted and dissolved into a dew seeping into the Earth and consumed by the gusts of the Fair-Winds. The Red Man believed too that the animals in hibernation danced in a visionary landscaped as symbolised by the bear.
