THE GAFFA - Sample Personalised Letter |
The first sheet you receive in each pack is a personalised letter. A sample of this is shown below
and it keeps you upto date with events that happened in your league in the last turn as well as general
events that affect all GAFFA managers.
The first part of the letter reminds you which team you manage, which league you
are playing in and what your manager number is. In addition it confirms whether you
made any payment in the last turn and whether you now need to make another
payment to continue playing the game.
The manager of the month award is presented once each month to the best performing
manager in each division. Each winning manager gets a free turn and the winners are
announced to all managers
The Lottery is run each turn. The winner gets £250,000 for their club but if the
lottery is not won then the following week becomes a 'rollover' week and the prize increases
by £250,000.

Messages from the GAFFA
Please note that we have now changed the turnsheet to make it easier.
In the TEAM section we have printed the numbers of the players that are
currently selected to play and the formation being used. You now only need
to write any CHANGES that you want to make for the games so there is no
need to write the full team out for each match.
THE GAFFA is pleased to announce that the winner of the signed Everton
shirt is Jason Lewis (manager 6563) from London. We are now, starting
another draw but this time for a signed LIVERPOOL shirt. All managers
playing THE GAFFA on the 8th of December will be entered into a draw to
win the shirt. Good luck to all managers, someone is going to get a great
Christmas present!!
We are also pleased to announce our new manager message line. Using
this new feature you will be able to leave messages for other managers
and listen to their messages on the phone. Simply ring 0891 234 033 and
follow the instructions. Note that calls cost 39p per min cheap rate and
49p per min at all other times.
