MOORDENT BOOKS
"Applied Oral Physiology; Clinical aspects of the oral biology of the teeth and jaws" is a textbook for dental students which provides a review of normal structure and function of the oral cavity. The book is also accessible to oral hygiene and dental auxiliary students by virtue of a Dictionary of Terms.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
Moorland Dentistry offers seminars to post graduate students and dentists wishing to continue their education. Some parts of the course material for these seminars can be found in the Review section of this site.
Science reviews are a series of topics in oral biology designed to help postgraduate students prepare for the MFDS examination in basic sciences.
Chronic Facial Pain is a day course which reviews the close association between the neurophysiology and psychology of pain. The course builds on these associations to derive an approach to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic facial pain.
Prosthetic Dentistry is a day course devoted to commonly encountered problems in dental prosthetics including management of the demanding patient and developing an aesthetic appearance when constructing new dentures.

ESSAYS AND REVIEWS This site includes reviews of some aspects of clinical dentistry and essays on broader topics of interest related to dentistry.
