The Siesta (right in photo) has been designed for
the 100in thermal soaring class so popular in the UK. The construction of the Siesta
is similar to that of the Summer Breeze but features a three
piece bolt on wing with plug in tips. The rudder elevator controls are well harmonised for
those tight thermal turns which are often necessary to make the most of small pockets of
lift. The Siesta also has good penetration enabling it to penetrate back
upwind after following a thermal downwind. Airbrakes which are shown on the plan are
optional. |
