Sacred SitesJourney to Scotland and Ireland ~ July 2004
We will experience the magnificent landscapes of the Western Isles, the Highlands of Scotland, and the most deeply sacred places in the Heart of Ireland, as we align with the frequencies of the Callanish planetary energy Line.
This major North/South Earth-energy meridian encircles the planet, holding a profoundly feminine - Goddess quality, enabling participants to access the deepest aspects of their Divine Grail consciousness.
We will journey together, sharing meditations, prayers,
sacred ceremony, toning, movement, good food, fun and laughter.
As we heal our relationship to the Goddess within, we will participate
in healing those frequencies in the Earth grids, and within collective
consciousness. The more deeply we open our hearts to the Feminine consciousness
of the planet, the more receptive we will become to the inflowing Solar
Christic frequencies of the Divine Masculine, which are lovingly guiding
us towards our full awakening and ascension.
Outer Hebrides
The Journey begins in Edinburgh, with a short flight to Stornoway on the
beautifully rugged Isle of Lewis. An afternoon for arrival, relaxation
and meeting the group will be followed by a morning meditation in the
elegant majesty of Callanish Stone Circle, and its surrounding sites.
From there, south by road and ferry to the Hebridean Isles of Harris,
North and South Uist, with many fascinating standing stones, stone circles,
cairns and sea-lochs.
Mull and Iona
From the southernmost tip of South Uist, we take a relaxing ferry journey
to Oban on Mainland Scotland, then to the Isle of Mull, touching the fairy
realms at Lochbuie Stone Circle, on route to the Sacred Isle of Iona,
birthplace of Celtic Christianity, brought from Ireland by St. Columba.
We will spend the next day exploring the wealth of sacred sites in the
unique stillness and beauty of this uplifting spiritual retreat.
Kilmartin Valley of Megaliths
Returning to the Mainland, and south to the megalithic valley at Kilmartin,
with probably the most impressive array of standing stones, stone avenues,
cairns and stone circles anywhere in the British Isles.
Isle of Arran
The Scottish part of our journey culminates by exploring the many sites
on the magical Isle of Arran, before returning to Glasgow for a short
flight to Dublin.
Ireland
We will re-connect with the Callanish energy line at the magnificent,
vast, astronomically aligned chambered cairns of Fourknocks, Knowth, Dowth
and the unique splendour of Newgrange. Then to the Hill of Tara, Seat
of the Ancient Kings of Ireland, sacred to Grainne, the Sun-Goddess.
Loughcrew
We continue into the heart of Ireland, to honour and ask for the blessings
of the Mother Goddess at her 30 chambered cairns of Loughcrew ~ Slieve
na Calliagh ~ a place of deep tranquility and beauty.
The Sacred Centre
This will be our preparation for venturing onto the most ancient and sacred
site of Uisneach ~ the Spiritual Centre of Ireland.
Next day, we fly from Dublin to England, for homeward conections, or the Optional Extension to sites in England.
Optional Extension to England.
For those wishing to continue to England, we will fly from Dublin to Bristol,
making our first connection at the ancient stone circles of Stanton Drew,
then on to Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well and shops.
The final day, we will experience the many facets of Avebury - its vast
Stone Circle, Church, Silbury Hill and West Kennett Long Barrow.
Our closing ceremony will be an evening meditation inside Stonehenge.
Next day, participants will be taken to local rail connections or international
flights from Heathrow Airport.
Marcus Mason
I have worked with Earth energies for many years, facilitating workshops,
meditations, ceremonies and journeys to sacred sites with individuals
and groups.
My motivation is to enable us to become ever clearer in realising and
grounding our spiritual potentials through developing a deep connection
with the sacredness of the Earth.
I also practise Traditional Acupuncture and Soul-centred Astrology, which
I have taught for over 20 years.
Bookings and Fees:
Full fee for the Journey in Scotland and Ireland is: £1,300 ($2055
/ 1880 Euros - rates at time of printing). Fees are payable to Marcus
Mason in £ Sterling by UK (only) cheques, Bankers Order, or electronic
transfer of funds - please call or email for bank details if transferring
funds.
Additional fee for the Optional Extension to England is £280 ($445
/ 405 Euros).
Fees include flights from Edinburgh to Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, shared
B&B accommodation, evening meals, ferries, all transport, sites access,
internal flights to Dublin and Bristol or London Gatwick for homeward
connections. Those who opt for the Extension will be taken at the end
to Salisbury train station or London Heathrow. Fees do not include lunches,
incidental snacks, drinks and refreshments.
To reserve a place, please send a deposit of £650.00 (£790.00,
with extension) before 6th May 2004, the balance of £650.00 or £790.00
