Sunny back in work for only 6 weeks, Summer 2000. In the Summer of 1999, he was kicked in the stifle. After one year off to recuperate, he had lost muscle, but luckily did come sound. After 6 weeks of walking, he had improved enough to offer a short lesson for Wez and Lesha and he had started trotting. I warmed him up and checked that he was balanced enough in trot. This was the first time he’d trotted under saddle since his injury. |
