The Photographers Centre runs a well equiped digital darkroom facility. Digital Darkroom facility   Our digital darkroom equipment is based on Pentium PCs: running Photoshop 5 and Desk Top Publishing software. We have 5 workstaions available for hire. We also have an A4 colour flat bed scanner and a 600dpi inkjet printer. We can also arrange for scanning from 35mm film and printing to A3 on 1400dpi printers. Images may be downloaded to disk or zip disk to be printed on other printers. Electronic file transfer of photographs:   We are able to offer a photographic file transfer facility using E-Mail. By attaching .jpg files to E-Mail it is possible to transfer pictures via modem. This is essentially a wire service allowing almost instantaneous sending of photographs from The Photographers Centre to anywhere in the world (with a computer!). Professional photographers may find this a cost effective way of sending pictures to newspapers and clients. If you are interested in this facility please ask about details. Frame Bank   The Photographers Centre operates a frame bank of over 300 exhibition frames available for hire. These frames are made by Nielson and have a black finish on an aluminium frame. The Frames are available for hire in three sizes: 24"x20", 20"x16" and 16"x12" Prices for hire start at £1.50 per frame per month.
