The Photographers Centre is an independent arts organisation managed by Fair Exchange South West Ltd. which is a registered company and charity.
The Photographers Centre was set up in 1999 by photographers for photographers following the decision of South West Arts and Exeter City Council to cut funding from the Exeter Darkroom.
Our facility is available for hire by photographers of all abilities.
The Centre offers a range of educational opportunities in both traditional and digital media.
A frame bank of exhibition frames are available for hire to photographers.
We activley seek to promote photography by means of exhibitions and this inter-net site.
The web site (originally Exeter Darkroom) was set-up in 1996.

It is not funded by South West Arts, Exeter City Council - or anyone else!
