Sunny Travels can organise anything from a simple fly in and fly out, to an all out full expedition to the Holy and sacred Mount Kailash in Western Tibet. In fact the Kailash treks are where Travels specialize - Director, Tenzin Norbu comes from Simikot in the West of Nepal, which is where this amazing adventure begins. He is familiar with the region, and has been running successful visits to Kailash since the remote pass between Nepal and Tibet opened in 1993.
Sunny Travels has a good relationship with the Chinese tourist authorities in Lhasa, and can thus organize a Kailash trek or any other visit to Tibet at short notice. They do advise a group of at least four people, as this keeps the individualšs costs down. They will liaise and gather together a group to this effect.
At the time of writing; from Kathmandu it would cost around $1,800 for the required 21 days to get to Kailash. Internal flights in Nepal plus trekking permits are extra. Also extra days within Tibet can be arranged if you wish to visit the ancient ruined city and Monastery of Tsaparang at around $130 per day.
