How glad am I that work is over for today. Constant incoming calls and no time to work on the crap that's already been logged. After all, we're only 9 people short in an office of 22.

Tim Wakely. What a cunt. Having broken off the lock on our shed, the twat has now ripped off the bolt, so the pram is now sat there in an unlocked cupboard where anyone could steal it. Fucking prick.

Oh, and the asshole stole the locked padlock too.

Met a very nice man the other day. As nice as the day is long. The only draw back is that he charged me 16 quid to tell me he'd be charging me 44 quid to cut me (OK so he'll technically be drilling into my teeth, but it's all the same to me).

I've been toying with the idea of setting up a food blog. Keep track of everything that I eat and see if naming and shaming my diet can help me loose weight.

Would need to get a good set of scales first though.

So I got the new site looking pretty much OK and then realised I hadn't tested in bloody Internet Explorer. After trying a couple fiddles I ended up with a separate CSS for IE purely because it's non-standard. WTG Microsoft.

Well, as part of my media empire the latest website is up and running. Check out alexandtoni.co.uk, although be warned, it's still a work in progress.

I will not buy a PS3.
I will not buy a PS3.
I should not buy a PS3.
Even though it's only £299.99 including GTA IV.
Even though I really want it.
I have better things to do with that money.
I want to buy a PS3.
I mustn't buy a PS3.
I will not buy a PS3...

Well, I've been a bit remiss in posting on this blog again lately, what with all the child rearing and such, so a quick update for all of you who still bother to read this little site.

Ryan is 10 weeks old tomorrow, his mummies birthday (which is nice) and he's been doing really well. From the 4lb 9oz start he's now well over 9lbs and a lot more interested in what's going on around him. It's amazing to watch his face and try and work out what he's thinking, generally 'feed me' or 'bugger off and let me sleep' but we won't hold that against him.

The flat has now been carpeted, so it's actually looking really nice for the first time since I moved in 7 years ago. We can walk through the lounge without the need for shoes. In fact wearing shoes in the lounge will get you a very stern look from the Mrs. at the very least.

Not much else really going on at the moment, and nothing's really pissed me off lately so no ranting and venting to speak of. Sorry about that.

I've been playing Scrabulous on Facebook, as have hundreds of thousands of others, but I find it's much more interesting to cheat than to play it as it should be played.

When I say that I should point out that I still play normally with most of the games, but one of the chaps from work I've been playing against has also been cheating and we play against each other in full knowledge that we're using solver sites to get the best possible scores from the tiles available. It comes up with some odd words indeed, and while doing three 7 letter bingos in a row is enough to alert anyone of foul play, it's quite good for finding new words and increasing your vocabulary.

I've been told I've been being remiss by not posting more updates on how my little man is getting on, so I'm here to say he's doing great. He's nearly a month old now, and as he's finally asleep I'm not going to flash a camera in his face right now so you'll have to be patient for more pics.

Well, Ryan in 5 days old now and as cute as a button (are buttons cute?) even if I do say so myself.

He's spent the last few days in the neonatal unit with a drip topping up his blood-sugar, but he's off that now and feeding well for himself. The nursing staff here have been great looking after the poor little blighter and keeping us up to date with what's going on, although the last week is still a bit of a blur. This being a dad malarkey is tiring work.

Hopefully we'll have Ryan home soon so no more trapesing to the RD&E every morning, which will be nice.

We also named him today at the Registry Office so he's officially a person as of 11:45 this morning. Woohoo!

Still in hospital, nothing much happening yet. It's going to be a long night.
