Whilst the public and scientific debates continue into the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO’s) it is Taysters’ policy to manufacture sandwiches with ingredients that are free from GMO’s.

Assurances are being sought from our suppliers, and their suppliers in turn, that this is the case.

Ingredients for which GMO-free status cannot be warranted will be replaced with an alternative item.

In the case of products involving a complex food-chain it is not yet clear whether genetic heritage can be verified or tested for. However, Taysters will use their best endeavours to establish the true origin of all products and their constituent ingredients and advise the nature of any possible use of GMO’s during their production.

Taysters will, of course, comply with any future revisions to relevant labelling regulations in respect of GMO’s and will continue to keep both customers and consumers updated with information.
