A grade II listed barn which has been converted to a high standard in 1997 with many of the original beams remaining. It is situated at the entrance to Hele Barton but with its own enclosed secluded garden great for relaxing in , with lawn and patio with seating and barbacue.A great place for families or a cosy retreat for just a couple on a break away from it all with all the comforts. It has beds for 7 in the 2 bedrooms upstairs. Should you be less able the wetroom is ideal. We can also bring a single bed downstairs.

This lovely property is open all year for letting.

Downstairs

The entrance hall, has leading off a disabled toilet and wheel-in shower, with a wheeled shower chair and hand rails. To the left is the fitted oak kitchen/diner with washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric halogen hob and cooker etc. Pine farmhouse table and chairs for up to 8 people.

Downstairs wetroom with disabled loo & shower

An oil fired boiler heats the water and radiators in all rooms. This is included in the rent.

To the right is the sitting room with colour TV with DVD & video, radio/CD player, 3 piece suite and sprung double sofa bed with patio doors leading to the secluded garden. We can bring down a single bed if required.

Upstairs

Stairs with bannisters one side that go up in 3 stages of 3 steps at a time lead you upto two large family ensuite bedrooms.

One has a double four poster bed and one single bed .

The other room has a double bed and a single bed with guest bed under. Both the bathrooms have baths and electric showers over. There are also clock radios and hair dryers in both rooms. Duvets are provided but if you prefer blankets or have an allergy to feathers please let us know. We can provide cot & high chair also a stair -gate if required.

Stencilling decorates the walls and with pine furniture and country fabrics we have tried to keep the character of the building.

Beds will be made up for your arrival plus towels. We also provide milk, tea & coffee for a welcome cup after your journey. Fresh flowers. The latest local TV guide and eggs from our own hens when we have them.

A phone is located in the kitchen. Number given on booking.

Mains smoke alarm.

Breakfast can be provided in the farmhouse.

We can hire a wheelchair locally for you if required. We have a raised toilet seat & risers for chairs or tables if required.

The local pub/restaurant is just a 7-10 minute walk away. We can also provide it on a B&B basis. We are sorry we do not accept dogs in this property but do see our thatched cottage.
